Kofi Kinaata explains why he does not respond to beef songs
Kofi Kinaata, a revered Ghanaian singer, has stated why he does not write songs that criticise people, but instead concentrates on motivating and uplifting ones.
According to him, he does not understand the point of creating diss songs that would ruin one’s relationships with others in the music industry.
He went on to say that diss songs often result in the exchange of derogatory statements, which can even impact one’s family. He went on to say that he hopes to set a positive example for aspiring musicians.
Kinaata stated in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, which was monitored by ZackGh.com, that having a large number of popular songs does not guarantee a musician would make or respond to those tunes.

“I want to prove people incorrect, therefore I will not reply to a trash song where you attack my mother. I will not respond to your diss song because it will cause you to become nervous and make statements that will impact my family.
“I need to provide a positive example for the future generation. People ask me about diss songs directed at me, but I don’t mind. “If you have many hit songs as an artist, you will not respond to such songs,” he stated.
Kinaata is one of Ghana’s most respected artists since his music does not foster feuds. He is recognised for creating good music that inspires.
