Reverend Owusu Bempah rushed to Police hospital
Reverend Owusu Bempah, the founder and head of Glorious Word and Power Ministries, is claimed to have fallen unwell just four hours after being denied bail and remanded in police prison by an Accra High Court.
According to reports reaching us, the renowned Pastor, who claims of being friends with Ghanaian President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has been brought to the Police Hospital and is being held under armed police guard.
He is claimed to have been shackled to his sickbed, with a police officer stationed nearby to ensure he does not flee before being released.
According to sources at the Police Hospital, he has been pleading with friends in higher places within the corridors of power to remove his shackles while he receives medical attention, but this has been useless.
Rev. Owusu Bempah and four others were remanded by an Accra High Court on Sunday, September 12, 2021, for attacking police officers who were at his church to make an arrest.
On social media footage, Owusu Bempah and his Junior Pastors were seen threatening new convert Nana Agradaa with guns.
In a second video, the Pastor and his Junior Pastors were shown storming Nana Agradaa’s home and threatening to assault her if she left her house and entered the premises.
