Ghanaian musician recounts how ‘homeless’ boy he supported destroyed his relationship with foreign-based girlfriend

Erico, a gospel artist, related a tale of how a young guy he aided caused conflict between him and his fiancée who lives abroad.

Erico chose to help a homeless youngster. He said that they both went to the same church. Erico was financially supported by an overseas woman during his relationship.

However, the scenario took a turn when the boy Erico helped started intercepting assistance meant for Erico from his fiancée, without his knowledge.

“I chose to help someone who had nowhere to stay but was playing the drums at church. I wasn’t financially secure at the time, so I was fortunate to meet a female who could support me. Sometimes I let the boy talk with her.”

“After a time, the youngster began to retain items meant for me without my awareness. It got to the point where he was sharing recordings of me with another lady to my girlfriend, who lives abroad. During an interview on the Okukuseku show presented by Emelia Brobbey and monitored by ZackGh.com, Erico stated that they no longer receive assistance from her.

Erico expressed dissatisfaction with the youngster who disturbed his connection with his girlfriend.

“I handle all of the household expenditures, so I couldn’t understand how he could betray me like way. Instances like this are why some individuals are afraid to help others in need.
