Ghanaian lady, Gh Mouthpiece drags Shatta Wale through the mud; lauds Black Sherif

Ghanaian media personality Adwoa Asuama, well known as GH Mouthpiece, criticised dancehall star Shatta Wale for not taking his music profession properly.

She believes Shatta is no longer relevant in the music industry. She said that this is why people are ignoring him.

She chastised the singer for wasting his time slinging insults at other musicians and influential figures in the country rather than focusing on his music career and producing decent songs that would reflect his brand.

In a TikTok live session, GH Mouthpiece argued that Black Sherif and other top artists outperform Shatta Wale, who is now a shadow of his former self.

“The past Bandana, who was releasing hit songs back-to-back, is still living in that glory. I am being frank here. If not for the fact that legends are respected in Ghana, Black Sherif could beat his chest and claim he is better than you.

“You have been playing with your talent all this while. Instead of working hard, you’ve been insulting people unprovoked. Now the talent has turned into jokes,” she said.

Shatta has faced harsh criticism for his frequent assaults on singers, especially his ‘rival’ Stonebwoy and other important figures, even when they have not insulted him.

He recently called out Stonebwoy for supposedly undermining him.
