Check out the moment a gymnastic almost got burnt at the Ghana’s 65th independence parade

A trapeze artist soaring through the air, or a tightrope walker at the circus, are examples of acrobats that perform gymnastic feats or other movements that require agility and balance. The Republic of Ghana, one of the beautiful African countries and the first sub-Saharan African country to achieve independence, commemorated the day it was freed from its colonial masters on March 6, 1957 with a special independence parade held in the Cape Coast stadium in the country’s central region. Following Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s election as the first president of the then-Gold Republic, which eventually became Ghana following independence in 1957, the 6th of March has been designated as a national holiday in Ghana, which was observed yesterday. In the presence of Ghana’s current president, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, there were several unique activities in the Cape Coast stadium, including acrobatics performed by professional military acrobats from the Ghana Armed Forces. However, as the acrobatic sequence unfolded, an unfortunate scene occurred when one of the acrobats flew to enter one of the wheel or circus ring arranged, he missed the target and fell on the ring that was lit on fire, nearly burning himself, but was quickly aided by his colleagues and continued with their activity with no casualties reported.
