2023 AFCON qualifiers: Black Stars are favorites to secure top spot- Angola coach Pedro Goncalves
Angola National head coach Pedro Goncalves sees black Stars are favorites to qualify out of Group E of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The 46 year old believes the four time African champions are very powerful footballing nation and have all the potentials of topping the group.

“Ghana is a very powerful national team in Africa; one of the five teams representing Africa at the World Cup. So sure, they are favorites.
“I believe between Angola, Madagascar and Central African Republic, it will be a big fight but I believe we will make it,” he said.
Ghana have been paired in Group E alongside Madagascar, Angola and Central Africa Republic.
The qualifiers begins in June with Ghana hosting Madagascar in the opening game.
