WAFA denies reports of Konadu Yiadom joining hearts of oak

West African Football Club (WAFA) have denied reports of konadu yiadom joining accra hearts of oak on a three year contract.

Operations Manager, George Ofosuhene of the club says the club has not agreed a deal with the Ghanaian giants for the 21 year old center back.

“WAFA does not have any agreement with Hearts of Oak concerning the signing of Konadu Yiadom. Neither have they (Hearts) written officially to us for the services of the said player,” he told OTEC FM.

“We (WAFA) still have a running contract with the player. Those stories in the media are all speculations.”

Yiadom was linked with a move to several clubs in Europe and was close to sealing a move to Belgian Jupiler Pro League but the deal fell through.

Earlier this year, board member of hearts Alhaji Akambi says that  the long-term Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC player signed for the club and will join the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League winners.

Konadu received offers from Germany, Austria and Portugal.
