Otto Addo’s appointment: We will announce it once we are done – GFA General Secretary

General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Prosper Harrison Addo says his outfit are working around the clock in appointing coach Otto Addo as the substantive coach of the black stars.

According to the lawyer, engagements are currently ongoing with the various stakeholders and once  conclusions are reached it be announced.

The west African Nation is currently without a head coach following last month’s World Cup qualifying play-offs against Nigeria.

“Engagements are going on and once conclusions are reached, we will announce it to the generality of Ghanaians. We know this is one of the key things we need to conclude and to move on to other things and so work is ongoing,” Prosper told JoySports

“There is no use in saying too much when we can just wait and get the full blessing or otherwise and then we can inform Ghanaians appropriately. Once concluded, immediately, we will announce to Ghanaians and then move on,

Ghana was placed in Group E, alongside 2019 debutants Madagascar, 2010 hosts Angola and the Central African Republic for the continental event to be staged in Ivory Coast.

Recently, Ghana Football Association communications director Henry Asante Twum revealed that handing the Otto Addo-led Black Stars technical team a new mandate to lead the team to the 2022 World Cup has become priority of the FA.
