Wizkid finally gives reason for not showing up at Accra concert; Apologises

Wizkid, a famous musician from Nigeria, has apologized to his followers and to all those who attended his “Wizkid Live Concert” concert on December 10.

After the singer Wizkid stood his supporters up yesterday at the Accra Sports Stadium, Ghanaians and some Nigerians criticized him.

Some attendees have demanding that Wizkid be arrested for failing to show up, and others have asked the event organizers for a refund. The absence of Wizkids from the concert, in the opinion of the event planners, constituted a breach of the agreement.

Wizkid finally broke his silence and apologized to his fans on Twitter, explaining that it was not his intention to miss the event.

Wizkid continued, “My brand is too big to drag through the muck.” However, he was able to attend without any problems with safety or productivity.
