Following the attempt by some selfish people to sneak their way into the Oda forest reserve at Manso Aboaboso in the Amansie South District of Ashanti to practice serious illegal mining activity, Manso Nkwanta Traditional Council and residents of the town have expressed anger and disappointment.

They have therefore decided to resist any attempt whatsoever from any quarters aim at perpertrating such demonic act and causing damage to the forest reserve on the blind side of the traditional council.

An earlier report that suggested an ongoing illegal mining activity in the Oda forest reserve at Manso Aboaboso where residents accused the NPP government due to the unconern attitude of government officials including the DCE William Bediako upon several reports.
