Meek Mill, Asake, Stonebwoy, Davido and other top artistes to perform at Afro Nation on December 29th and 30th

Meek Mill and Asake have both been unveiled for the spectacular return of Afro Nation Ghana in December, which is the largest Afrobeats event in the globe.

Following years of speculation about visiting Ghana, Meek Mill is the first American artist to join the festival’s lineup. This performance also marks his first significant presence in Africa. Afro Nation makes it happen now, in 2022.

He is frequently spotted working with the greatest names in the business, including Drake, Snoop Dogg, Jay Z, Post Malone, and his former collaborator Nicki Minaj. He is also no stranger to Afrobeats. He brings a boatload of some of hip hop’s biggest blockbuster tunes with him. The Philadelphia rapper who was nominated for a Grammy worked with Davido, the star of Afro Nation Ghana 2022, on the song “Fans Mi” in 2015.

This long-awaited Ghana debut makes this year’s Afro Nation even more essential to attend for Meek Mill and his numerous Ghanaian admirers.

Nigerian Afrobeats musician Asake is present at today’s lineup reveal alongside Meek Mill. Asake is an artist who is unquestionably bound for success. He brings his exciting and highly anticipated brand of “Street-Pop” to Accra’s city center, where international hits like “Bandana” are expected to steal the show. Asake is rapidly rising and is currently featured prominently in both the newly released Billboard US Afrobeats Chart and the Official UK Afrobeats Chart.

On December 29 and 30, 2022, Afro Nation Ghana will be held at Marine Drive at Black Star Square. The event, which was started to bring the diaspora together in honor of Black Joy, comes back for a festive journey of Black culture, groovy music, dance, delicious cuisine, and much more. This much awaited second installment of Afro Nation is ready to follow up the historic African premiere in 2019 with a memorable celebration.

Several of today’s top performers have already been unveiled for the festival’s significant comeback, including Meek Mill and Asake. The famous P-Square, Nigerian party king Davido, Rema, Dadju, CKay, Adekunle Gold, and Ghana’s newest brightest stars Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Gyakie, Black Sherif, and Camidoh join Ghana’s own special guest Stonebwoy on the performance.

Additionally, Major League DJz, Uncle Waffles, Kamo Mphela, and DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small’s collaboration project Scorpion Kings are all featured on Afro Nation Ghana, delivering the greatest sounds of the South African underground to the world.

The Afrobeats explosion, with Afro Nation at its center, continues to flourish, uniting the diaspora on locations of cultural significance on three continents. The wildly popular Portugal Beach Festival this summer and the first US concert in Puerto Rico were followed by Afro Nation Ghana. The most exciting cultural center in West Africa, Afro Nation Ghana currently welcomes hundreds of people returning from abroad to celebrate the new year with friends and family.
