THE LITTLE ANT.
Ants are little creatures that respect themselves and always want to live in colony without being perturbed. They value their feet more than the food they gather in their holes. When it rained and they want to cross a flood, their leaders have to hold each others’ feet to form a chain while the rest run through them untill they all cross successfully. Thus each must be a brother’s keeper!
Leader “A” has to bit and hold leader “B’s leg firmly to form a raft to make the crossing possible. All at the crossing place works harder towards achieving their set goal.
Let us look at the fire ants:
When a fire ant colony floods, they join together to form a raft. A pile of about 500 ants can floats on water surface. Ant rafts are so buoyant that they are hard to sink. That is when unity is born among members of a colony.
The leading team is bold and fearless to defend their colony in times of danger. They eat together and share what comes their way without greed. The leaders do not desire praises over their duties, responsibilities and obligations that will bring success to their colony. The joy of one is the joy of all and a problem to one is a problem to all. No one is task to account for private or individual work done aside the general colony and any mistake committed on the crossing will let the flood move them to where they will never be able to reunite.
***Politicians must learn to live like the little ants if they want to cross a mighty sea.
