NPP’s Chairman Wontumi to mount the stage with Shatta Wale on 6th March Independence Day celebrations

Shatta Wale made this announcement on his social media platforms and revealed that the song titled “Zion” was written by himself and Chairman Wontumi.

Well, get ready for what is coming this Friday, 6th March 2020 as the Ghanaian dancehall will mount the stage with NPP’s Chairman Wontumi for a wonderful performance.

Ghana’s 63rd Independence Day Celebration for the third time in the history of Ghana will be hosted outside Accra and this time, it’s taking place in the capital of the Ashanti Region, Kumasi.

As part of activities to mark the day, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party Mr Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has stated in an interview that he is rehearsing towards a performance with the ‘Borjor’ hitmaker.

According to Chairman Wontumi, he has more musical talent than Shatta Wale.

“Shatta Wale is a top artiste and I like his music a lot but I want to battle him at this year’s Independence Day Celebration. When it comes to lyrics, I will murder Shatta because I have all the punchlines,” Chairman Wontumi said.
