The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has intensified to the point where many people are wondering whether the world’s tragic past, which has caused so much misery and grief, will repeat itself or whether a final cease-fire will be reached as soon as possible.

Many people fear that at the rate this war is progressing, it may lead to the third of the two world wars that occurred many years ago; as a result, most countries are taking great caution not to ignite anything that will only make life miserable for humanity.

Meanwhile, a former British military chief has warned that imposing a no-fly zone over Ukraine may be required if Nato is forced to combat Vladimir Putin sooner or later.

General Sir Chris Deverell previously served as the chief of the Joint Forces Command, where he oversaw military intelligence, cyber, and special forces until his retirement in 2019. He originally stated that he was “against Nato imposing a no-fly zone in Ukraine, thinking that it will inevitably intensify the conflict.”

However, the president of the United States, Joe Biden has made it clear on his Twitter page that they will defend every inch of NATO territory with the full power of a united and galvanized NATO, declaring that a direct clash between NATO and Russia would be World War III. And it’s something we must work hard to avoid.
