What will happen in December, Tinubu speaks

Tinubu also urged for more unity of purpose and coordination among the federal government, state governors, and National Assembly members to accomplish national development objectives.

“Our economy has turned the corner. In the coming months, the economy will roar back to glory. By December, I hope we will have cause to celebrate,” Tinubu said when he received state governors and the leadership of the National Assembly, who paid him a courtesy visit in Lagos on Friday.

Tinubu’s guarantee was contained in a statement released by Ajuri Ngelale, the president’s special assistant on media and publicity, on Friday, April 12.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, speaking on the president’s behalf, expressed hope about Nigeria’s economic rebound and urged everyone to work together to move the country ahead.

He urged unity and collaboration among all stakeholders to achieve shared prosperity and vowed a brighter future for the country under President Tinubu’s leadership, Channels TV reported.

“Let us unite, rally around our leader, and catapult this nation to a greater pedestal. By December, I hope we will have a reason to celebrate. Let us coalesce to take the nation to a greater pedestal,” Shettima said.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, March 20, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu encouraged Nigerians to become more active in agricultural production.

Mrs Tinubu made the call on Wednesday, when she hosted Amina Mohammed, Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, at her office at State House in Abuja.

The First Lady remarked that Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) interventions, particularly in agriculture, empowerment, education, health, and social welfare, will supplement President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s efforts.
