“How I Raised My Daughter Alone For Almost Ten Years” – A Ghanaian Father Tells His Story
A single Ghanaian father has revealed how he has been able to care for his daughter for nearly a decade on his own.
Mohammed Akwasi Appiah narrated he has been the sole provider for his young daughter and describes the struggles he has been through over the years.
Akwasi explained he has been taking care of his little child, who goes by the name Mariam, single handedly for almost 10 years now and still taking care of her.
He further explained that, for him to be a better father, he consults his female friends on how to lead his daughter in areas where he lacks knowledge.
Mohammed Akwasi Appiah shared the moving narrative about himself and his beautiful daughter, Mariam Akwasi Appiah, on his LinkedIn page, which has been trending across all platforms.
Though Akwasi admitted that when he is stumped on how to handle his daughter, he seeks help from others, particularly his female friends.
According to the father, he receives feedback from things he does not understand as a man in this manner.

“I am proud of my influence on her and I pray for guidance from the lord God to help me continue to be the hero in her life.”
His story touched the heart of many netizens who couldn’t help but to also share a comment, many people who left comments on his LinkedIn story indicated he is doing well and wished him strength.
