Health & Well-Being Foundation Sends Support To Kwadwo Arko And Community At Abroa Obokor In Mankesim

Mr. Kwadwo Arko and Mrs. Eugenia  Amoah-Arko family  through the Health & Well-being Foundation Ghana sends support to Mr Kwadwo Arko & community at Abroa Obokor ( Mankesim).

Madam Eugenia saw the video of Mr Arko and family on internet on the 3rd day of September 2020 which was reported by Adom Tv.
We felt so sad for the whole day and decided to support them.

I forwarded the video to the Manager of Health & Well-being Foundation Ghana, Mr. Francis Adomah who made various contacts to reach this vulnerable family.

The Arko’s family in London decided to support Opanin Kwadwo Arko family bearing same name as my family.

My family has a disabled daughter called Ama Nyamekye hence we identified ourselves as being in the same SHOES  AS THEM.

There was donation of two(2) bags of clothes, provisions, food stuff, bags of rice, health insurance package and a mobile phone to support him via mobile money.

The health professionals in the foundation organised a health screening exercise for the whole community.

We checked their blood pressure, sugar levels, malaria, body mass index (BMI) and treated those who needed treatment there while we referred those with high blood pressure to nearby clinic.

In an interview with the foundation’s manager, Mr. Francis thanked God who touched Madam Eugenia’s family to support Mr. Opanin Arko and his disabled children.

He encouraged individuals and corporate institutions to extend support to the needy and vulnerable in our societies.
