Headteachers of Junior High Schools meet with Jomoro MP Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey to discuss the scholarship scheme
I met with headteachers of all Junior High Schools (JHS) in Jomoro yesterday, 8th March 2022, to explain to them what the scholarship scheme I am rolling out this month entails. According to Hon. Dorcas Addo-Toffey.
Present at the meeting were 94 headteachers representing all the 94 Junior High Schools (JHS) in Jomoro that sat the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE), the Municipal Education Director and a couple of Schools Improvement Support Officers (SISO).
After a fruitful deliberation, Hon. Dorcas Addo-Toffey distributed to them the scholarship application forms in accordance with the number of candidates they each presented for the 2021 BECE Exams. This is to make it easily accessible to all potential beneficiaries in the various communities in Jomoro.
She added: Please note that, all new Senior High Schools (SHS) Entrants this year who are ‘brilliant but needy boarding students’ are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have had an aggregate of not more than 15 and 17 for boys and girls respectively, and satisfactorily demonstrated that they are indeed needy to qualify an award.
On that score, I wish all applicants the very of luck. Said by MP for Jomoro Hon. Dorcas Addo-Toffey.
