There has been five disqualifications by the EC, Jean Mensa. These five flagbearers tended in their files to contest this year’s presidential elections or election 2020.
Out of the 17 who filed their nominations to contest the elections, Five of the aspirants were disqualified. The five include Kwesi Addai Odike, Kofi Koranteng, Kofi Game, Kwesi Busumbru and Nana Agyenim Boateng.
The Chairwoman of the EC, Jean Mensa held a media briefing on Monday October 19 indicating that the disqualified aspirants had issues with their forms thereby leading to.their disqualification.
Jean Mensa made a remark that the Commission will report those that centre on criminality to the Ghana Police Service for further investigations.
Below are the 12 aspirants who were qualified to contest the 2020 elections.
