Dede Ayew and his daughter visit National Chief Imam after World Cup exit

On December 8, 2022, the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, had a visit from Ghana Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew and his 7-year-old daughter.

Days after arriving home Ghana following the Black Stars’ elimination from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Andre Dede Ayew pays a visit.

During the visit, the National Chief Imam took some time to offer a prayer for the Al-Sadd players and his daughter.

The Black Stars were led by Andre Ayew to the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, where they were eliminated in the group stage.

In Ghana’s 3-2 loss to Portugal, the tournament’s opening goal was scored by the team’s captain. Andre Ayew participated in each of the three group stage contests, including the victory over South Korea.

In Ghana’s 2-0 loss to Uruguay, the Black Stars skipper faced harsh criticism for missing a penalty.
