Burial date for late Nigerian actor Junior Pope announced
The funeral plans for the late Nollywood actor John Odonwodo, sometimes referred to as Junior Pope, have been made public by his family.
Recall that on April 10, while filming a movie, the 43-year-old actor sadly lost his life in a boat accident on the River Niger.

In a more recent development, the family has declared that the requiem service at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish in Asaba, Delta State, on April 23 marked the start of his burial procedures.
The late actor will be honoured with a series of ceremonies, including a requiem liturgy at Christ the King Catholic Parish in G.R.A., Enugu on May 13.
Additionally, on May 14, there will be a candlelight homage at the Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu.
His village, Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, in Nsukkaa, Igboetiti LGA in Enugu State, will host a wake on May 16.
The burial will thereafter take place on May 17 following a funeral liturgy at St. Peter’s Parish.
Additionally, on Sunday, May 19, in St. Peter’s Parish Ukche Nsukkaa, Igboetiti LGA, Enugu, there will be a last Thanksgiving liturgy.
