Arise Ghana youth for your country, the country is sinking – Shatta Wale to Ghanaian Youth

Shatta Wale, Ghana’s controversial self-proclaimed dancehall king, has resorted to social media to urge Ghanaians to stand up because the country is collapsing.

The controversial African reggae-dancehall icon has recently been trending online for inciting beef on several people, including attacking actress Jackie Appiah, getting on the neck of Nigerian music giant Burna Boy, who had to surrender, and kissing his body guard, which sparked a brief verbal exchange between him and Ghanaian political guru, Sam “Gyata” George.

Shatta Wale doesn’t care about personality; he just comes out to trash anybody or everything he feels should be blasted and states his thoughts openly and without regard; he is a warning to the young to Arise.

There is no question that there is great suffering in the country, but Shatta Wale has to come and clarify what type of “Arise” he is referring about. Is it to rise and work hard without relying on the government, or to rise in opposition to the existing administration?.

Ghana has been going through a serious hardship that those on the ground can feel, so Shatta Wale is correct in some of his words, the government needs to try to put measures in place and create more jobs for the youth to do, and also try to stop spending Ghanaian money on unnecessary things that will not benefit the people of the country.

However, Ghanaians, particularly the youth, must be innovative and proactive in order to drive the nation ahead. Instead of lounging idly around with no goal or desire, let us rise and be proactive in order to advance the country forward.
