The Ningo Prampram Member of Parliament, Sam George in an interview on Starr Chat Wednesday which is hosted by Nana Aba Anamoah shared his thoughts on some buzzing issues concerning Ghana music.

He said that music made in Ghana actually indigenous and therefore they find it very difficult to penetrate into the international market and to talk of international award schemes.
“Our music is to look up and should be fused with a bit of English to capture international interest like the Burnaboy’s and Wizkid’s .for music to win a Grammy for that it does not only have to be danceable are good lyrics but rather with good marketing structure artist are comfortable cooking wicked beats and put on dope lyrics but do not focus on marketing in the music” He said.

He ended by saying that Ghanaian musician shatta wale should be credited for bringing Ghana music industry back to  its feet as it was dying.
