Nigerian Singer Tekno Misses Interview On MTV Base West Because He Overslept

This sounds utterly ridiculous but that’s what Tekno says happened to him- he overslept and missed a high-profile interview on MTV Base West. 

MTV Base West had advertised that Tekno would come in for an interview on May 13, 2020. However, to the huge disappointment of fans, Tekno did not show up, compelling the station to render a profound apology to viewers.

“We are sorry to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control, singer @alhajitekno won’t be joining us tonight on Say What Now with @nonelawalsh as previously announced. We look forward to hosting Tekno on the show in the future. (1/2)”,

Tekno finally replied to the tweet and apologised as he revealed what happened to him.

MTV Base is a 24-hour music channel from ViacomCBS Networks EMEAA. There are three different feeds of MTV Base Africa, with one catering for the South African audience, one for West Africa, and another for rest of Africa, although there have been criticisms the African feed broadcasts Nigerian music only.
