New Asante Kotoko coach Mariano Barreto commences work Today

Newly Appointed Asante Kotoko Head Coach Mariano Barreto has began Work with the Ghanaian Giants this morning at their training grounds in Kumasi.

The Portuguese Trainer joins the Porcupine warriors on a one and half year deal last week.

Barreto will lead the Team for the second round of the Ghana Premier League which kicks off next month.

Kotoko are currently fourth on the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League table, midway through the season.

Having last won the title in 2014, the Porcupine Warriors have set their sights on breaking a seven-year drought.

They are the most successful club in the history of the GPL, having clinched the trophy on 23 occasions.
