A private attorney expressed his dissatisfaction with the amount of money Ghana’s couch receives in a month without contributing much to Ghanaian football; in the meantime, his salary is sufficient to send roughly ten doctors overseas, and he also mentioned a few capitals that are desperate for dialysis and artifacts. He then said that he will step out from politics upon Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia’s ascension to office.

In an exclusive interview with Boss News, he stated, If you believe you are going to raise the flag of the nation, you should question yourselves that… the tournament you are striding in for how many supporters are you going with, your expenditure rate and as well as your winning bonuses which you know nothing about.

He said “Even the president, the ministry could not take this matter up neither the parliament sports selective committees, after you got there and things did not be in your favour am I the one you will come and questions. How can a couch earns 50 thousand dollars a month, even if you are to pay 10 doctors 5 thousand dollars within a month is enough to send them abroad. That can send about 25 doctors to UK, Ghana we have a long way to go.”

“We don’t have dialysis machines in capitals like Kumasi, Sunyani, Techima how can the initial capitals have it. That is why at times me Obiri Boahen… when the insults reaches limit, I only pay a heed to my occupation. If we are to estimate the 50 dollars for 10 months, will sum up to 500 dollars which is enough to doing artifact in Drobo to Sampa and even belong. “He again added.

He ended up by saying “The Last time I went to funeral at a place near Bonwire the road wasn’t in its rightful state at all, even just last year I went to a funeral at Antoa, whiles going I used Kenyase root the road was very terrible. Twice amount of the couch’s payment is enough to renovate from Kenyase to Antoa. But that is not the priority of the African politicians, why should I, Obiri Boahen involve myself in politics after Bawumia wins, why should I worry myself in politics? I won’t, how painful is it that, a country like Ghana…we have minerals, like; timber, gold, diamond etc. and yet we go round to IMF seeking for loans.
