Hearts of Oak to appoint Hesse Odamptey as assistant coach

Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak is set to appoint Hesse Odamptey as the assistant coach to augment the technical team headed by Edward Nii Odoom.

The Phobians have been without an assistant coach in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season before it was cancelled due to the coronavirus.

Odamptey who is a former player of the club worked with the technical team under Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe administration and will be making a return to the club for a second spell.

He holds a CAF licensed certificate which qualifies him to be on the bench per the Ghana FA Club Licensing rules.

The club is set to make the official announcement in the coming days.

Hesse Odamptey will assist head coach Edward Nii Odoom when football restarts in October subject to approval by the government.
