Gyedu-Blay Ambolley tells how and where
Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, a legendary Ghanaian musician, has described his firsthand experience with the late American artist Michael Jackson during an event hosted in the United States of America (USA).
He mentioned that he came to the United States for a few years to further his musical career and learn about the creative arts sector.

He went on to say that at that point, he was given the opportunity to play at an event named ‘Apallo.’ He mentioned that numerous major American artists were scheduled to appear.
The legendary Ghanaian artist said that the late President Jerry John Rawlings was also there at the time.
In an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, which was broadcast on ZackGh.com, Ambolley claimed that he had the opportunity to interact with Michael Jackson during the event.

“I performed at an American event called Apallo with musicians like Michael Jackson, James Brown and other top artistes. So, being at that stage, I vowed to do my best because of the stars who were on schedule to perform.
“I met Michael Jackson when JJ Rawlings came to the US. We were sitting at the same table together with Stevie Wonder, Michael Hayes, and others. It was a great moment,” he said.
His words came in response to a query from the show’s presenter, who asked him to update the audience on how his time in the United States affected his music career.
