Due to the courtesy of the English language their lingua-franca, Ghana and Nigeria’s friendship has evolved to the point where there is some play between the residents of the two West African countries.
However, there is some hilarity between Ghanaians and Nigerians, which appears to have begun with football and has now progressed to food, specifically ‘Jollof Rice,’ which is an indigenous culinary method in both nations.
When it comes to preparing Jollof rice, Ghanaians always claim to be the finest, which ZackGh.com believes to be true, but our counterparts ‘Dey Think Sey’ that is not the case.
Ed Sheeran, an English musician and songwriter, was recently featured in a viral video with one of Nigeria’s most attractive vocalists, confessing that he preferred Ghanaian Jollof over Nigerian Jollof. This is a plus of a Jollof Vote for Ghana, Lol.
But it’s no surprise that this is coming from Ed, who has a song called ‘Bibiaa Be Ye Ye’ in the Ghanaian language Twi.
Yemi Alade was seen encouraging the singer to lie about how much he loves Nigerian Jollof, but here’s what he said, lol:
