Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr falls down on stage at Afrochella Concert
On the first day of Afrochella, Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known by her stage name Ayra Starr, collapsed on stage while performing one of her hit songs.
When she was captured running from the front stage to the backstage area, the popular Nigerian song “Rush” hitmaker missed her steps and landed on her back.
Ayra, who calls herself the “Celestial Being” was wearing a body suit when she slipped, so no parts of her body were exposed and no injuries were reported.
Unfazed, Ayra rose to her feet and resumed her performance as if nothing had happened.
During her performance, the young female vocalist also mentioned how she was 20 and dangerous.
“I was 19 and bad last year; this year I am 20 and dangerous,” she explained.
Meanwhile, the 20-year-old has faced criticism for wearing skimpy outfits to shows and in music videos for quite some time.
Ayra Star joined a long list of notable artists who performed at Afrochella during the holiday season.
