Amerado faces “Internet Prison Sentence” as his American accent goes wrong | Ayongo or Ayango or I ain’ got?
Ghanaian internet citizens on the “Vawulence Republic of Twitter” have gotten on the neck of Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Amerado, better known by his stage name Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, for saying wrong English, when attempting to explain his rival, Lyrical Joe’s rap verse.
Amerado on United Showbiz attempted to decipher his colleague rapper’s verse, which many are of the view that he did that correctly and meaningfully considering he did a freestyle with it and got two rhymes with the “EX” sound, which even got the pundits screaming “bars bars bars.”
“I ain’ got no RolEX, Because I don’t have time to roll with my Ex”.
What netizens are claiming went wrong was his accent, which he tried to change to American slangs, as others claim he said Ayango/Ayongo instead of “I ain’ got.”
You know what dey tear me for this, ebe the facial expression as he drop the bar finish plus the backing “ahnn ahnnn” 🤣😂 pic.twitter.com/HE0Z6KLrmO
