2023 AFCON qualifiers: Franck Mbella earns Maiden call-up
Kumasi Asante Kotoko Forward, Franck Etouga Mbella has earned a maiden call-up into the Cameroonian national team ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers.
The 22 year old been a key figure for the porcupine warriors in the ongoing 2021/22 GPL Season.
Mbella has been included in the Indomitable Lions squad for preparations ahead of the upcoming 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
2017 Winners of the Africa Cup of Nations, host and quarter finals of the 2021 AFCON will face off Kenya, Burundi and Namibia at the second round of the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers.

Cameroon is one of the forty-eight countries seeded in twelve groups of four countries each on their journey to book qualification tickets for the biggest football event in the African continent to be hosted by the West African state of Cote D’Ivoire.
He is expected to be featured in two games in the first round of the qualifiers against Kenya and Burundi.
