There has been some speculations for a long time that there is voodoo or black magic in football which players and teams uses to manipulate in their advantage to win games. Many people, however, disbelieve this because most of these actions are done in private or out of sight of the public.
Meanwhile, witchcraft has been outlawed in Africa, according to reports, due to worries that players are using it to get an unfair advantage in matches. In a game between Rwandan Premier League teams Mukura Victory and Rayon Sports, a player allegedly performed a ritual in the middle of the game and then scored a goal seconds later.
Many people, however, are skeptical of the usage of juju in football, particularly in African football leagues. There is a video of Joseph Langabel, a prominent sports aficionado, who has revealed some details about the sacrifices made before the Ghana Black Stars won the 2009 Under 20 World Cup.
Langabel disclosed be Ghana lifted the cup winning against Brazil who was equally doing well in the tournament, they had to sacrifice 7 solid mad humanbeings just to win the final match to bring the cup home.
