Urvan Bus Driver Dies After Running into Bawumia’s Convoy

The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia escaped injuries and the worse the public would have heard-death. Mr. Bawumia who was returning from an assignment in Asemasa;Western Region had his convoy involved in an accident.

The incident occurred after an urvan bus driver ran into the vice presidential convoy en route Greater Accra Region. The driver died after running into the convoy.

Some security personnel and passengers who sustained varying degrees of injuries were conveyed aftermath to the Cape Coast Regional Hospital.

Gideon Boako who is the spokesperson of the vice president shared the the vice president’s message of condolence to the family of the driver.

He said “Vice President Bawumia’s thoughts and prayers are with the injured and family of the deceased”.
