Former Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer has pleaded with the media together with the supporters of Kotoko to rally behind Nana Yaw Amponsah.
According to him, the Current CEO is capable and will succeed if he gets support.
“My statement that I will not come back to kotoko again was not made out of bitterness. I believe I have served kokoto on several occasions.
“I’m now old and have to give way to others. I’m sorry if any kotoko supporter got offended by that statement. I hope this board with able men and Nana Yaw Amponsah succeed.
He added “I plead with the media and supporters to give them time and support them.They will deliver’.Mr George Amoako. He told Fox Fm.
George Amoako who served on Kotoko’s management team for the past two years returns for a second spell with King Faisal.
Amponsah contested the GFA presidential elections in October last year. Of the six candidates, Amponsah placed third behind winner, Kurt Okraku and George Afriyie, who was second.
