Charles Nii “Shatta Wale” Armah Mensah, a controversial Ghanaian dancehall icon, has taken to social media to disclose his current favourite artistes in Ghana.
Shatta Wale, who has been chastised on social media for not supporting the current trending artiste, Black Sherif, took to Twitter to clear the air, saying that the composer of “Kweku The Traveller“, Blacko and versatile young rapper, Lyrical Joe, are the artistes he is currently jamming to and that they are his favourite artistes.
Without a doubt, Black Sherif is the most in-demand artiste currently in Ghana, with practically every other artiste vying for a piece of his fame that has crossed boundaries, and his latest single “KTT” has topped charts in various nations.
When we talk about rap flow, lyrical command, and variety, we can’t forget about this young Ghanaian boy in the photo below, who goes by the stage name Lyrical Joe in the rap game. It’s no surprise that Shatta Wale chose him and Black Sherif as his greatest musicians.
The controversial Reggae and Dancehall singer revealed to his fans that the tunes he listens to every day are by the aforementioned young artiste.
Fans on social media began making comparison between him and the “1st Sermon and 2nd Sermon” hitmaker which sparked tension between the fast-rising artiste and Shatta Wale, who began threatening in videos to warn industry players against pitting them against each other.
