Sarkodie Shows Maturity; Speaks On Why Shatta Wale Described Him As ‘Poor’
Sarkodie has reacted to Shatta Wale’s description of him as poor.
According to him, Shatta Wale doesn’t mean it as such because he was only saying something to push him.
Ghana’s ‘highest rapper’, Sarkodie, has finally opened up on why Shatta Wale described him as “poor”.
Shatta Wale, before making peace with Sarkodie, has been slamming the rapper for the past two years.
In his rants, the Ayoo hitmaker described the former BET award-winner as poor.
According to him, Shatta Wale doesn’t mean it as such because he was only saying something to push him.
on Vlad TV, a popular news and celebrity interviews platform owned by a famous American journalist, DJ Vlad, he said:
“he has a different approach to the music industry. He feels controversy sells, he feels it’s boring to just have a clean brand“.
On why he recorded the ‘Advice’ diss song to Shatta Wale, he said they could be having a conversation, and the next minute, Shatta is on Facebook Live saying something else about him, and he only felt he had to speak to that.
Sarkodie, however, emphasized that he understands Shatta Wale’s approach because their music colleagues in Nigeria are doing great stuff that Ghanaian acts need to be doing too, hence, the kind of energy he sparks in the Ghanaian music industry.
Shatta Wale surprised Sarkodie on stage during the rapper’s Black Love concert.
On Sunday, August 16, 2020, during Sarkodie’s Black Love virtual concert, Shatta Wale showed up to support the Tema-based rapper.
Shatta Wale, and Sarkodie performed they famous Megye Wo Girl song, and as expected they were a delight to watch.
Shatta Wale and Sarkodie proved that they are really the greatest musicians in Ghana now.
