My name is Abdul Rashid Issah, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Okaikoi Central Constituency.
I was born in Wa in the 60s, but have lived in the Okaikoi Central Constituency area since the late 1980s.
I’m maried with four kids and had my education up to A-Level (Sixth Form), when I decided to break and join family business as a contractor.
I believe in equity and justice. I always have the desire to see smiles on every man’s face.
I have been a registered member of our great NDC party since 1992 and have held various positions at different levels.
I have held a Gold membership card of the party for over two decades today.
I have never resigned nor engaged in any conduct that could degrade the party in anyway.
I love decent politics. One devoid of hatred and looting.
I believe politics is an avenue to harness opinions and to negotiate for support from government and to better the lives of the people.
However, without a position in government, one has no say.
That’s why I am today contesting with the aim of helping the people beyond what I can offer them as an individual.
