Osman Bukari wins Coupe de France title with Fc Nantes

Ghanaian international Osman Bukari has clinched his first major trophy with Ligue 1 club FC Nantes after beating OGC Nice in the finals of the Coupe de France on Saturday night.

The Ligue 1 Outfit defied all odds defeating the French giants in a narrow triumph to clinch their fourth French cup for the first time since 2001.

The Match ended goalless after first proceedings but the yellow outfit responded perfectly well just two minutes from the break with a penalty.

Ludovic Blas made no mistake from the spot as Nantes finished the game with 1-0 advantage in regular time.

The 23 year old was in action after replacing Nigeria international Moses Simon in the 73rd minute playing key role to the victory.

He has been involved in five goals this season across all competitions; two goals and three assists.

On 12 August 2021, Ligue 1club Nantesannounced the signing of Bukari on a season-long loanwith an option to buy.

Bukari made his debut for Ghana national teamon 25 March 2021 in an AFCON 2021 qualifieragainst South Africa.
