Mginfluencer.com, a platform that connects fans and influencers from all over the world, has announced the launch of its first MG Influencer Awards.
The media brand, which is currently present in Canada and Ghana, established the MG Influencer Awards to recognize, celebrate, and highlight bright lights in the influencer space in Ghana and Africa who are creating active engaged communities around their niche or craft.
Darlington Wagner, African representative and co-founder of mginfluencer.com, shared his thoughts on the awards. “The African media landscape, like the rest of the world, is rapidly changing.”
As digital media has become the new mainstream, the role of influencers in driving this change cannot be overstated.
Our initiative is primarily aimed at engaging the influencer communities in each of our markets, highlighting the most consistent and impactful creators, and ultimately contributing to the growth of digital media in Africa.
The MG Influencer Awards 2021 will begin with a round of open nominations from the community, followed by the Jury screening the list of nominated influencers and selecting 10 nominees based on the criteria for each category.
The nominees will then go through two rounds of voting before the final award ceremony, where winners will be announced. Fashion, Media, Music, Photography, Acting, Modeling, and other notable categories are listed below.
