Only Greedy And Selfish Disqualified Aspirant Goes Independent, Don’t Vote For Them – CODP 2020

A ground of about 80 persons who were disqualified in the NPP Parliamentry Primaries Vetting has joined hands to form a group to support Campaign for the New Patriotic Party (NPP)

Coalition Of Disqualified Patriots 2020 (CODP) as they called them is urging members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to vote for members of the party contesting the upcoming 2020 parliamentary elections as independent candidates.

Speaking to Oman FM Reporter Nana Yaw Entsie (Prof Ike), at Assin Manso in the Assin South Constituency said, those who had decided to contest as independent candidates are disrespectful, greedy and selfish people who don’t think about the progress of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) but only their selfish interests.

Cue…. Some members of the disqualified Patriots.

According to Mr. Lawrence Agyinsam, the Chief Executive Officer for Exim Bank who joined the Assin South Constituency Campaign at Assin Manso today said, the activities of those persons may hurt the chances of the party in the polls.

If the four more for Nana Addo will really work, He cannot assume power without having someone to help in the parliamentary work. So he need people who can support the Nana Addo’s government in Parliament. No independent candidate can help us (NPP).

Whoever is moving around and calling himself an NPP member in the Assin South Constituency and is contesting as an independent candidate is not a loyal member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). No loyal NPP member will contest as an independent candidate,” he said.

He said such action by Kofi Damtse going independent is “a sign of disrespect and anyone who doesn’t respect the laws of the New Patriotic Party cannot work with party.

President Akufo-Addo cannot work with any self-acclaimed members who flout the party’s rules and regulations and the laid-down structures with impunity.

Don’t Vote for Them” He said.
