NDC Declares No Recounting Demands Will Be Tolerated

The National Democratic Congress has just organized a press conference for all Ghanaians and foot soldiers to resist allowing the recounting of ballot papers.

They acccused the New Patriotic Party of trying to manipulate the system by using recounting.

Asiedu Nketiah said the ex- President Mahama is in a comfortable lead and alleged that all should be vigilant because some scrupulous people want to manipulate the system.

They called upon all abled bodies to warn the E. C. to take note that any false move to favour another party will bring chaos.

Asiedu Nketiah alleged that they have won 141 parliamentary seats and have realised that the E.C. and the N.P.P. are in bed to use recounting to reduce the number of parliamentary seats won.

He said recounting is not done at collation centres when at polling centres nothing of the sort was requested.
