Minority Supports President and GAF In The Fight Against Secessionism
Haruna Iddrisu, the minority leader for the largest opposition party in parliament has assured President Addo Akufo-Addo that the House will remain united in relation to the fight against secessionist movements in the Volta region.
He described the activities of the group as a threat to the country’s stability whilst he was on the floor of parliament on Tuesday October 6. Mr Iddrisu is the Member of Parliament for Tamale South.
He added that, the President as Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces has the full support of the House to deal with the threat to the sovereignty and integrity of Ghana.
