Ibrahim Sannie Daara, former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, has urged Ghanaians to let Black Stars head coach Otto Addo to decide whether to put Andre Ayew in his team for the World Cup qualifiers in June 2024.
The Black Stars face two qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic, thus Otto Addo is anticipated to pick his side for both games

Although sources suggest that the coach has stated his desire to create his team around youthful players, it is unclear whether Andre Ayew would be named as one of the squad’s experienced players.
On the question of Andre Ayew’s selection, Ibrahim Sannie Daara stated, “It is up to the coaches to decide.” If I say you should invite him, everyone would assume it was Sannie who suggested we invite Dede.
“It is up to the coach whether to invite him or not. His season’s performances are in front of him, ready for evaluation and judgement.
“Even if we are submitting invoices for his performances to the coaches, it is up to them to invite him or not. But his performances are on display for everyone to see, including the coaches,” he told Asempa FM.
