‘I’m launching my next record in Ghana’ – Popcaan from Jamaica
Andre Hugh Sutherland, better known by his stage as Popcaan, has announced that his upcoming fifth studio album would be released in Africa, specifically Ghana.
Due to the #YearOfReturn & #BeyondTheReturn measures to increase tourism, the Unruly Boss stated in a tweet that he is launching and presenting his new album in the West-African country that has been an abode to many in the diaspora.
Popcaan tweeted: I’m doing my next album launch in Ghana and everyone’s AKWABA (welcomed).

Popcaan isn’t visiting Ghana for the first time.
The Everything Nice singer arrived in Ghana in 2020 to partake in the #YearofReturn festivities, visiting popular tourist attractions such as the Cape Coast Slave Castle and the Aburi Botanical Gardens.
Meanwhile, the Dancehall king has stated that he is now working on his fifth studio album.
The Unruly Boss uploaded numerous images on Sunday, August 8, 2021. One of them shows him with his hair braided, his eyes closed, and a spliff in one hand.
