Yvonne Nelson disclosed this in an interview on Showbiz A-Z on an Accra based radio station Joy FM. According to her she will halt her acting career but will continue the production of her movies after she ventures into active politics in 2024.

Yvonne Nelson stated that her reason to join active politics is to prepare herself and also educated herself with matters of politics so that in the nearest future, she will be able to fit into the higher category of the political platform.
