I don’t wish any government failure, I criticize because I want a better Ghana-Lydia Forson

Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has revealed why she is always on the heels of every government that assumes the reigns of power in the country.

According to her, she doesn’t wish for the failure of any government, her only goal is to ensure that the government of the day is kept on its toes to ensure Ghanaians get the best.

To her, the success of every government would impact positively on her life and the general Ghanaian populace, hence, when things aren’t going well, she doesn’t have to keep mute about it.

Lydia Forson added that Ghanaians should see the need to hold the government of the day accountable so that they will get the best rather than being overly partisan to the extent that even when things aren’t going well and they know too well that things aren’t going well, they do all they could to defend the government they support.

In as much as she is aware some people genuinely wish that the government fails in its bid to make things better for the people, she is not in the business of wishing any government failure but what she desires is for the government to do the best for the people.

Lydia Forson shared her sentiments on Twitter:

“Unlike some; I don’t wish any government failure, I mean why would I when like many other Ghanaians, I will feel the effects. I want every government to succeed because their success will impact my life positively. I wish people would understand this and not be so partisan.”
