How Would You Feel If You Were In Their Shoes? – Joe Mettle Goes In Hard On Bloggers Who Publish Fake News
Ghanaian gospel musician, Joe Mettle, has advised bloggers and spreaders of fake news especially about celebrities to desist from such acts.
He made this known in an interview with radio show host Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Monday, October 26, 2020.
According to the “Bo Noo Ni” hitmaker, people should understand that celebrities aside them being public “toys” have their personal lives and such news about them may result in damning consequences.
Joe Mettle further stated that, fake news also affect their brands especially outside Ghana and can lead to them loosing business.
He recounted how he had to debunk a false publication about him to some people outside Ghana so to keep a contract.
“How many times am I going to defend myself and how will they feel if they were in my shoes?”, he quizzed.
The now married Mr. Mettle stated that though he has been built with a tough skin to withstand such circumstances, other people may crumble and fizzle out due to the callousness of some unscrupulous people who selfishly do these things all in the name of traffic.
