Former Eastern Regional Minister,Mavis Ama Frimpong, Files For Nomination in Abirem

Hon Mavis Ama Frimpong, former Eastern Regional Minister under the erstwhile JDM administration has filed her nominations to contest as a Parliamentary Candidate on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)in the Abirem Constituency of the Eastern region.

She presented her forms at exactly 11:59AM on Thursday, 8th October and made available a GHc10,000 bankers draft as the filing fee to the EC.

This is the third time Hon Mavis Ama Frimpong would put herself for the position having done same in 2012 and 2016 but unfortunately loosing out to the New Patriotic Party’s Esther Obeng Dapaah and the Incumbent, Hon Osei Frimpong respectively.

The delegation observed strict Covid-19 protocols as she was accompanied by Hon Paul Aboagye Dadzie(Former DCE of Birim North), Alhaji Nurudeen Fuseini (Constituency Chairman), Mr Daniel Odzeyem (Constituency Secretary), Mr Faji (Deputy Communications Officer), Mr Is-haque Ibn Issah (Constituency Zongo Caucus Coordinator) among many other notable Constituency executives.
