EVENTS AND MORE PERSONALITY SPOTLIGHT ON PANKA(THE CELEBRITY ARTIST)

Panka Abubakari Sediq popularly known as Celebrity Artist hails from Pelungu in the Upper East Region of Ghana, Bolgatanga.

He is the CEO of Panka Artstudio, Celebrity Shot and a Co host of Showbiz Hour on YEM Radio 89.1fm based in Bolgatanga Municipality. He had his early education at Pelungu Nursery to Primary School from 1996 and in the year 2001 he left Pelungu Primary School to Duusi Primary School until 2005 he left his hometown to Kumasi.

When asked Panka how was life in Kumasi? He kept quiet for sometime  and replied with drops of tears while saying life was really difficult for him as by then he stopped  schooling and joined his uncle Issaka at Kumasi Abattoir “Mayanka” to work. Later in 2008 Panka enrol to Ahinsan Primary “B” School and later went to Feyiase D/A Junior High School where he completed his basic education.

In 2012 he gained admission to  Bolgatanga Senior High School (Big Boss) where he completed in 2015 and proceeded to Tamale Technical University to study Industrial Art. After his Higher National Diploma (HND), Panka is currently offering online art courses at Domestika in Germany.

Panka owns online art shop where he sell most of his art pieces. Someone may ask how can Panka owns online art shop? But the reality behind this is that he’s the type that dream big and not just staying awake and dream but he work hard as well. To be honest, Zackgh.com wouldn’t be surprised to see Panka owning online art shop because We have heard a lot about him from a friend who is very close to him. Zackgh.com even heard earlier on that Panka was very serious doing his art work during his Senior High School days. Notably, his beads sandals, necklace, chains, fabricated sandals and bags using Big Boss anniversary cloth and even writting people names on their bundles and chains.

After his Senior High School, he toured the whole of the Upper East Region with his crafts, leather products, beads, and other art pieces. Some of the towns he toured were Bawku, Pusiga, Garu, Zebilla, Paga, Sandema, Navrongo, Fumbisi,…and many others.

When asked Panka what actually motivate and inspire him as an artist? He replied without hesitation that, he get motivated whenever he sees people admiring his art pieces more especially, buying, and sharing them on media platforms.

He went on to say that as an artist he faces a lot of problems for instance, weather conditions, machines breakdowns, poor network services, and many more.
